Whether it is preparing for a career transition, job change, or re-entry into the workforce, learning agility is required to stay relevant and ensure that workers have the skills they need for the jobs of the future. A structured developmental and career planning process is crucial to prepare a person to achieve maximum effectiveness for the individual. Using Capelle’s 5A Career Planning model, this course provides learners with skills that will build self-confidence to plan and execute their career-learning and development journey which will also be beneficial to the organisation as a whole. Learners will use a Profiling tool called “Career Anchors Diagnostic Questionnaire to gain understanding of their aspirations and motivations and competence.
Learning Outcome
At the end of the programme, participants should be able to: • Clarify personal goals; • Identify personal strengths and areas of improvement; • Craft, document and review their individual career and development plan; and • Prepare for developmental and career planning meetings.
